The design is nice however, they are made out of white plastic and then painted I believe to make them black which makes them acceptable to chipping the paint rubbing off over time. We ordered two and both arrived with white areas on some of the tips where the paint rubbed off. Another observation, they are light so you need to place them where they are not bumped or they will fall over.Use as decoration or a sturdy side table-looks really nice!Love the modern look, visitors will give you compliments, just wished it was a little taller I feel like it’s a bit short but I still love it.My wife likes the fact that it is coffee table height. I wish it were end table height. We would also get an orange one but they were out of stock. It's light but solid so I gave it three stars for sturdiness.looks great in my bath to hold candle.I wish they didn't take the pic at that angle because they made it seem much more sturdier/thicker/comfortable than what it actually is. It is way over price for something that is made of pure plastic. I guess since it has a contemporary design to it they overprice it to $100+. It Is just plastic! I figured with the amount you pay it would have much more detail, thicker, comfortable and have more style to it but its just plain twisted plastic all the way around. Don't sit on the edges, it'll tip...you have to sit right in the middle.Too short for end table had to use as a plant stand still cuteI liked the style - a lot.A fun plastic piece that is impervious to water.
